Eligibility Criteria

For undergraduate programs

  1. Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
  2. Students who wish to opt for Honors with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester 6.

For Post Graduate Programs

  1. 1. Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 40% marks or equivalent grade (35% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

For Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)

  1. A Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology or a closely related field (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Organizational Psychology, etc.).
  2. The degree must be awarded by a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (50% for reserved category candidates) or an equivalent grade.
  3. Applicants holding professional qualifications in Psychology (e.g., M.Phil. in Psychology) or related disciplines may also be eligible, subject to university norms.
  4. Candidates must qualify for the university’s Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) or have a valid score in recognized national-level exams such as UGC-NET, SET, SLET, or equivalent.
