Library

The institute has well-resourced physical and digital repositories of the library, which includes the printed books, e-books, periodicals, magazines, journals, newspapers, CDs/DVDs, project reports, conference proceedings. Library offers a reading room, e-databases, wifi connectivity, digital library, and reprographic facilities. The aim of the library is to provide satisfactory services to its end users.

  1. Enter the names in entry register compulsory.
  2. Keep your personal belongings at the Property Counter.
  3. Institute ID-Cards are a must for Library transactions.
  4. Use of mobile phones is not permitted in the library.
  5. Please maintain decorum, peace and silence within the premises of the library.
  6. Please handle Library materials with utmost care.
  7. No material from the Library should be taken out without proper issuing/recording.
  8. Reference materials such as dictionaries, handbooks etc. are not issued out of the library.
  9. Do not mark or write anything in books.
  10. Check the book at the time of issuing. In case of any defect or damage please inform the library staff.
  11. All overdue Books are fined Rs. 5.00 per book per day.
  12. In case of loss or damage of books, replacement of books has to be made by the user.
  13. Loss of borrower card should be reported to the librarian. Duplicate cards may be issued against formal application and with a fine of Rs. 50.
  14. Any type of violation may lead to a disciplinary action.

On working days

8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m

During study holidays

8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

During examination days

8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

During vacation

8.00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Library resources are issued to users for a definite period of time thereafter the returned resources will be taken back and shelved.
